Finally i got some copies of the book today, looks really good, i hope that ppl will like it. It took a year to make and it wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't for the help of all my friends that helped me so much on this project. M
Conceptual still life photographer Massimo
Gammacurta was born in Rome, Italy and studied photography at Cine TV Roberto Rossellini's school.
Influenced by the Futurist art movement the
Graffiti culture and Fellini's and Pasolini movies he shot stills and portraits for a host of publications and advertising such as Details,Forbes , Style Montecarlo ,XXL , Nike, Lexus, Wieden&Kennedy,Surface Magazine, esquire UK.
In November 2007 Massimo was nominated one of the winners of the Surface magazine Avant Guardian 10th annual.
Massimo also won PX3 in Paris public choice awards, 1st and 2nd place in Still Life at The international Color awards, American Photography AP-24 2008, IPA photo awards 1st and 2nd place in still life, 2 silver awards at the Creativity Awards category photography/magazine, 1st place at PDN Pix digital in beauty fashion and also has been included in the Luerzers archive 200 best advertising photographer and awarded Merit in the 44th Annual SPD (Society of Publishers Designers) in the category Trade/Corporate Photography and in the 2009 Creative Review photography annual.
